The Seattle Children's Hospital was a group project designed with the theme: "A Walk in the Park". When children walk into a hospital they need to feel safe and comfortable. Materials and finishes were chosen that reflect the blues from the sky, greens in the grass, and reds in the roses. Much research was completed before the initiation of this project in order to include everything necessary and required. An entire wing was designed to include patient rooms, nurse's stations, playrooms, a chapel, and a parent lounge. Renderings, elevations, and floor plans were completed in CADD and Photoshop.
